Everi

Content Fact Checked: March 7, 2019

Everi is a large real world casino gaming company, based in the acclaimed gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas. It is responsible for the employment of over a thousand people, most of whom are employed in the gaming division, which is situated in Austin, Texas.

Founded in 2015, the company specialises in the design of games for real world cabinet play via casino slot machines. In addition to its portfolio of slot games, it also organises slot tournaments and provides lottery services. It also provides real world casino players with access to cash via thousands of kiosks and cashpoint machines (ATMs) which are distributed amongst its many licenced casinos. These facilities process over 100 million transactions every year, with a total value of close to $30 million distributed in the last financial year.

Everi remains focused predominantly on land based gaming via slot machines and cabinets, which is unusual given the obvious benefits of licencing games for online play. Nevertheless, the regulatory framework remains much stricter in the United States than on this side of the pond, so perhaps this proudly American company is content with its excellent reputation with both casino operators and players in its homeland.

The current regulatory climate in the United States seems to be heading toward a gradual loosening of federal and state controls, so it is possible that we will be seeing some of Everi’s renowned slot designs on United Kingdom compliant online casinos soon.
