The app then contacts Nordea for authorisation via an encrypted network. Once authorisation is received, the code is displayed on your phone for you to use for making the payment. Alternatively, you can use a code card, sent by the bank, which has eighty unique codes on it, which you must use in a specific order. In an added layer of security, a further confirmation code must also be obtained.
