Founded in 2012, Gaming Innovation Group is headquartered on the Mediterranean island of Malta. It is responsible for the employment of more than 500 people.

Although this company is by no means one of the biggest names in the online gaming industry, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) is in fact a pretty major player in today’s market. Its revenues in 2018, the last financial year for which figures are available at the time of writing, totalled over €150 million. This represented phenomenal growth of more than 25% over the previous financial year. The company’s shares are listed on Sweden’s Stockholm NASDAQ stock exchange.

It is also an international operation. In addition to its modern HQ, just a few miles up the coast from the Maltese capital Valetta, it has another under construction. It also has satellite offices in Denmark, Spain, Gibraltar and three in Norway.

GiG operates in several different sectors of the industry. Its white label platform is available for its partner casino operators to use for their own brands. GiG offers all the services necessary to run a successful online casino. This includes all aspects of site management, player analytics, payment services, marketing, fraud prevention and security.

The platform offers its operators a choice of over thirty different payment methods, and has also signed licencing agreements with more than thirty alternative software providers. This means that operators using the GiG platform can choose from well over 3,000 games when deciding which titles to offer their players. Sports Betting services can also be provided if required.

In addition to its white label brands, the company also operates its own casinos. Its most famous in house brand is Rizk. This innovative site, featuring its own superhero Captain Rizk, was launched in 2016.

GiG also design their own games. Slots already in existence include Book of Souls, Fruit Slot and Wild Reels. Many more are on the way, with the company aiming to produce around half a dozen new titles each year.

Gaming Innovation Group are licenced by the Malta Gaming authority and are fully regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, so they can be regarded as safe to play for players based within the United Kingdom.
