Gabcon Media Limited

Content Fact Checked: December 4, 2017

Gabcon Media is a gaming affiliate company which makes money by claiming commission payments for “referring” players and customers to online casinos and bingo sites. These referrals are achieved by clicking on links on web pages and adverts provided by the company. The business was established in 2008 and incorporated in its present form in 2012. It has its registered address in Bolton, Lancashire.

The company is responsible for the design and operation of several bingo and casino affiliate sites, including Bingo Bus, Mobile Slot Sites and Bitcoin Casinos.

The company is also responsible for the operation of one online bingo site: Quackpot Bingo. This Cozy Games powered title is a member of the Live Bingo Network and is licenced via the UK overseas territory of Gibraltar.

The future of online affiliate marketing in the online gaming industry does face some challenges in the future as the political situation is pointing to increasing restrictions on the gaming industry. Fixed Odds Betting Terminals (FOBTs) in high street betting shops are the particularly focus of political pressure at the time of writing. Other affiliate and gaming industry practices such as the promotion of slot games which could be deemed to be attractive to children and the ability to play these games for free (such as the Demo Mode option offered on many sites) are also coming under pressure.

The business model of companies such as Gabcon Media does therefore seem to be facing some longer term challenges given this change in the political climate. Terms and conditions and commission rates paid to affiliates do seem to be coming under increasing pressure as the established online bingo and casino operators begin to tighten their procedures. Nevertheless, for the immediate and foreseeable future, the continued profitability of affiliate marketing businesses such as this seems assured
