Betit Operations Limited is registered in Malta, which has long served as a base for European online gambling operators. In 2016, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) acquired BetIt Holdings. GiG listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. It ran a B2B gaming technology platform alongside a set of consumer casino sites, and the Betit brands sat in the consumer arm.

In late 2019, GiG sold its entire consumer gambling portfolio to Betsson AB. Betsson is a Swedish group that has been in online gaming since the early 2000s. The transfer completed in 2020, bringing Betit Operations Limited into the Betsson corporate structure. Betsson lists on the Nasdaq Stockholm exchange and holds licences across more than a dozen regulated markets.

The most recognised names in Betit's portfolio are Thrills, Kaboo and SuperLenny. Thrills launched in 2013 as a slots-focused casino that found a following among Scandinavian and UK players.
