Mandalay Media are online gambling site operator. Originally founded in 2000, they began as a bingo portal operator before branching out into the “real thing” in 2009 with the launch of Costa Bingo. Sing Bingo, Fancy Bingo and City Bingo followed soon after, all using Dragonfish software. Mandalay took a further step forward in 2011 with the design of their own in-house software, which they used to power two new sites: XBingo and BGO Bingo. In July 2014, Mandalay Media sold most of its Bingo sites to the Canadian Intertain Group for a reported £45m. Mandalay is retaining control of BGO Bingo.
Mandalay Media have offices on the Isle of Man. BGO Bingo is licenced via Alderney (UK Channel Islands), is “whitelisted” and falls under the jurisdiction of the UK Gambling Commission. It is therefore considered safe to use in the UK.
