Virgin Games

Content Fact Checked: August 18, 2014

Virgin Games was formed in 2003, and for many people, the thought of being a customer of any of Sir Richard Branson’s company brings a warm fuzzy feeling, secure in the knowledge that you are dealing with a quality and trusted brand.

While this is often the case, it is not always as simple as that with the Branson empire – this company was sold in 2013 to Gamesys, which now licenses the brand. Branson still apparently has an influence on developments via a partnership agreement. It is certainly fair to say though, that the move to Gamsys has not been universally popular with regular users - many preferring the previous Virgin set-up.

In conclusion, the Virgin name remains a major selling point, with Virgin Games providing a safe, reliable and attractive service to gamers.
