Beatle Bingo is a new site from the ever prolific Dragonfish designers. And this time they’ve come up with something truly interesting and, it must be said, unique. They really have gone as close as they can get to a Beatles theme, without inviting a law suit. It may not be the fab four, but it certainly is fab. The home page features 60s Beatle-style psychedelic multi coloured graphics, starring four beetles (definitely the insect type, spelt ee) playing in a band. Why, one of them even plays the guitar left handed, while the drummer seems to be playing on some kind of mystical mushroom. I’d better get on with the review before the copyright lawyers close it down…
The bingo on offer is the standard 90 and 75 ball choice, with a wide range of instant games provided too. It’s all up to the usual smooth-flowing easy to follow standard, but it is the design that truly stands out. The psychedelic theme does not extend to the Loyalty Scheme or promotions unfortunately. How wonderful it would have been if the top loyalty level was Octopus’s Garden, or one of the promotions was “Million Penny Lane”. Still, you can’t have everything, so let’s just Let It Be and Get Back to the review. There’s a comprehensive guide to the game for newcomers needing Help, and the whole thing is welcoming and a delight to play for old hippies such as myself.
In conclusion, this review finds that Beatle Bingo has Come Together really well. All I can say, From Me To You, is that this site is really Something. In fact I’d be happy to play on it Eight Days a Week.
